Muses of Modernity: Women Artists Inspiring Change – International Group Exhibition in Weiz, April–June 2026

Muses of Modernity: Women Artists Inspiring Change brings together contemporary women artists from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East whose works explore identity, empowerment, cultural heritage, and social transformation. Through painting, sculpture, and photography, the exhibition reframes the traditional idea of the muse, presenting women not as passive sources of inspiration but as active creators shaping contemporary artistic discourse.

Curated by Nour Nouri and Georg Gratzer, with co-curation by Dr. Davood Khazaie and Johann König, the exhibition emphasizes cross-cultural dialogue and the role of women artists in addressing questions of identity, equality, resilience, and social change. Organized by Pashmin Art Consortia, the exhibition is on view at Kunsthaus Weiz from April 17 to June 6, 2026, following the Vernissage on April 16, 2026.
