COGITATIO ARTIUM – Where Thought Becomes Art brings together 13 international artists whose works explore how thought, emotion, intuition, and personal experience are transformed into visual form. Through painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, and digitally developed imagery, the exhibition presents a wide range of approaches to abstraction, figuration, symbolism, and material expression.
The participating artists are Hélios Boechat, Arman Atabi, Ali Kasap, Horst Wagner, Kiko Morales, Haican Jiang, Martin Ryng, Martin Haupt, Christina Hallof, Edita Abrink, Yaya Bela Roth, Sandra Kemmann, and Māris Čačka. Their works connect philosophical reflection with memory, movement, identity, nature, and inner experience. The exhibition opens at Kunsthaus Weiz on September 24, 2026, accompanied by an opening lecture by Dr. Davood Khazaie.
