On May 17, 2025, the Pashmin Art Gallery opened its doors for the grand opening of the three-artist exhibition Breathlines: Between Flesh, Form and Flow. The works of Karlheinz Wachsenegger, the late Zhang Dawo (1943-2023) and Donat Kamber came together in an impressive atmosphere – united by their artistic exploration of body, mind and nature.
Between close-up photography, expressive ink art and sensitive landscape photographs, a quiet, deeply effective energy was revealed: sound became visible, writing was set in motion, nature became poetry.
The exhibition was curated by Natalja Nouri, ceremonially opened by Nour Nouri, Director of Pashmin Art and his daughter Nuesh Nouri, accompanied by an inspiring lecture by international curator Dr. Davood Khazaie.
Here we show first impressions of the evening – a lively prelude to an intercultural exhibition that can be seen in Hamburg until June 13, 2025.
