Reflections and Resonances – Group exhibition in the museums of the castle and royal seat town of Greiz, October 2025

The published photos give a vivid impression of the successful opening and the special evening that turned the historic castles of Greiz into a venue for contemporary art. The exhibition “Reflections and Resonances: Reflecting Contemporary Art in Historic Greiz,” organized by Pashmin Art Consortia, runs from October 3 to November 22, 2025.

Artists from Europe and beyond—including Kalchie, Kiko Morales, Ambro Louwe, Janih Ch. Lüthi, Mark Müller, Ali Kasap, Nike Kama, Thomas Falkner, and Martin Ryng—explore themes such as memory, identity, space, and transformation in diverse forms of artistic expression.

Against the architectural backdrop of the Upper and Lower Castles, an exciting dialogue emerges between historical spaces and contemporary vision. Curators Koch, Nouri, and Khazaie bring expertise in local cultural heritage, international art, and critical contextualization, situating the works within global discourse.

The opening featured inspiring curatorial contributions and a piano concert by Álvaro Baltanás Meliveo, which harmoniously combined sound, art, and architecture. From abstract works to digital photography to naïve symbolism and geometric sculptures, the exhibition reflects the continuity of memory, the transformation of cultural symbols, and the resonance of creative processes over time—a bridge between past and present.
